One Man Nation MZK#004

One Man Nation is an avant garde electronic sound artist with a record released by Austrian experimental music label, Moozak. The record features a song on each side, essentially making it a double A-side.

In exploring the packaging format of the vinyl record, we designed the record cover as a half sleeve that is slotted into a transparent PVC jacket so that the transparent white vinyl can show through.

The photo of the sleeve, shot by Little Ong, is of vapour trails that was at once suggestive yet obliquely aligned to the music of the artist.

An magazine ad that featured the vapour trails photo was also designed for the launch of the record.
