Alice’s Sweet Insight is an animation commissioned by Micron Taiwan’s Capable, an Employee Resource Group (ERG) dedicated to promoting inclusivity within the company.

The animation draws inspiration from a poignant testimonial shared on a partner’s website. Alice, a young woman aspiring to open a dessert shop, was discouraged by her visual impairment and questioned whether her goal was possible. With the invaluable guidance of mentors and the unwavering support of her loved ones, she discovered an alternative path, learning to bake by relying on her heightened senses, ultimately achieving her goal. Her journey serves as a poignant reminder that there is always an alternative way to overcome obstacles.

This animation marks the inaugural use of an illustration style from Micron’s stylebook in an animation format. The clean black linework, complemented by accents of Micron’s accent purple, effectively highlights key actions and details. The voiceover narration adds a captivating narrative, while subtle brand elements, such as Micron’s iconic curve graphic, appear in the background of certain scenes, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to inclusivity.
