Neh Neh

Kult invited us to participate in The Memory Project, where we were given a fragment of Singapore’s past to completely reinterpret until there is very little of the original left.

We received a 70s vinyl record cover of a duo, Kok Peng Kin & Yin Yin, in the midst of a showy dance move and with radiant faces that beamed at us to unravel.

The resulting artwork harked back to a time when making a jibe meant putting your hand to your nose and uttering “neh-neh-neh-neh-nehhh-neh.”
