The Feast of Heroes

In creating a signature mural that would identify Ricciotti, a chain of casual Italian restaurants and bars, we looked beyond Italian landmarks to explore the cultural and personality makeup of Italy that resulted in The Feast of Heroes.

The Feast of Heroes features a gathering of famous personalities through the times in a celebration of culinary delight, set in a minimal scheme of colours. You can spot luminaries such as Galileo, Dante, Pavarotti, August Caesar, Monica Belluci, Dino Zoff and even Mario & Luigi amidst Italian design icons such as the Fiat 500, Rialto Bridge and Colisuem.

In creating a Singapore association, representation is made through instances of landmarks such as the Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer and Stamford Raffles statue that appears as ornaments carried by the heroes in the scene. See if you can spot them!
