Freestate Productions Credits

Freestate Productions is a boutique production house that balances it’s commercial projects with the experimental and avant garde. They are the only company in Singapore that distributes Kodak Super 8mm film. Being experts in the field, they deliver a variety of customised Super 8mm workshops and seminars to educational as well as corporate clients.

We were tasked to create an animation that would be a fresh take on their logo to be used in their productions. As their logo features a quirky retro image of a girl holding a Super 8 camera, we pushed the quirks further by having the girl hold various unexpected objects such as an ice cream cone and a torchlight. We still get a good laugh whenever we see this.
