Affordable Art Fair 2012

The Affordable Art Fair is a global brand that currently comprised 17 fairs in 14 countries around the world. It aims to make art affordable and approachable for the masses, artworks are priced between $100 to $10,000 in the Singapore fair.

We were commissioned to develop the branding activities for the 2012 edition in Singapore which involved the concept and photography of the brand image, collaterals that includes invites, brochures, the fair catalogue and a children activity book, advertisements for press, bus and trains, as well as wayfinding at the fair.

Our concept for the key image was aimed at conveying humour with a local context. This resulted in a trishaw transporting an everyman and his overflowing haul of artpieces, which resonated enthusiastically with the local audience and foreign visitors.

This third Affordable Art Fair in Singapore has attracted more than 16,000 visitors and chalked up over $4 million in sales, exceeding last year’s visitorship of 13,500 visitors and $3.05 million in sales.
