The Royal Mail

Serving a modern take on classic British cuisine, The Royal Mail Restaurant & Bar is named after a vintage brass mail chute that stands in its full glory by the lift lobby of the historic Ascott Raffles Place.

The design of the identity takes after a rectangular plaque on the mail chute that the original name is etched on. The intersecting lines represent an abstraction of the sheen on the brass surface, creating a gem-like appearance that evokes the exquisiteness of the establishment. The studied simplicity is carried across to the design of the menus and the website.
