Tong Tong Friendship Art

A series of 3 illustrations were drawn for the Tong Tong Friendship Store to celebrate their love for Chinese culture, quirky modern takes on Chinese classic wear and their childlike playful approach. There’s Tong Tong floating above a city on balloons with Chinese architecture amidst a sprawl of modernity. Another artwork features a fantastical factory machine churning out wonderful garments and accessories. And there’s a river playground set amongst a Chinese garden with children on swan floats that come alive. Utilising a single-tone line style, the artworks are deliberately hand-drawn to portray a charming naivety that the brand carries out so well.
