fFurious adicolor

First introduced in 1983, adicolour, one of adidas iconic shoe collections, was a training concept for men/women/kids with white footwear that comes with weather proof & quick drying markers.

adicolour made a comeback in 2006, where we were invited to design a set of adicolor jacket and shoes for a charity auction, with proceeds that would go to the Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT BAF) to raise funds for disadvantaged children between five to 12 years old.

Our first impression of adidas was through hip hop music so we developed a hand-drawn style of caricatures of major hip hop stars such as Run DMC, Eric B & Rakim and LL Cool J for the jacket, and adapted the style to be applied as patterns on the shoes.
